CAPTIONS — ORIGINALS
01. Rest and Persist — Acrylic — $3400
Sedona-red towers hold the middle ground while a pastel sky swirls overhead in ribbons of cream, lilac, and blue. The rock faces are built from layered crimsons and violets that catch the light differently from across the room than they do up close. The largest available original in the portfolio.
02. Grand Understanding — Acrylic — $1500
The Grand Canyon rendered in purples and pinks, its walls stepping down in warm shadow to a turquoise ribbon of the Colorado River. Clouds drift in a high, pale sky that gives the canyon its full depth.
03. Playful Saguaro — Acrylic — $1200
Green saguaros stand against a background that refuses to behave: hot pink, turquoise, and white gestures layered like confetti. The desert as pure joy, somewhere between portrait and abstraction.
04. Hidden Just Behind the Ordinary — Acrylic — $1200
A sandy wash winds toward purple mountains under a monsoon sky stacked with silver-bellied clouds. Creosote and brittlebush anchor the foreground. The title says it: an everyday trail, one look away from magic.
05. Persistence and Transformation — Acrylic — $650
A monarch rests on a purple aster over a ground of layered color and collage texture, wings lit like stained glass. Small painting, loud heart.
06. Superstition and Stars — Acrylic — $1800
The Superstition Mountains burn crimson and rose under a magenta night salted with stars. Saguaro silhouettes hold the foreground while the range does what the Superstitions do at sunset: glow like they are lit from inside.
07. A Place for Growth — Acrylic — $1400
Golden-hour light rakes across red rock spires while wildflowers crowd the foreground. Warm oranges give way to cool evening shadow, the hour when the desert feels most generous.
08. Prickly Pear Forest — Acrylic — $1000
Prickly pear pads stack into a blue-green thicket over a patterned pink and teal ground. The pads read almost like a crowd of faces, each one catching its own light.
09. West Valley Sunset — Acrylic — $2400
A West Valley sky doing what West Valley skies do: going up in color. Saturated bands of sunset pour over dark mountain silhouettes in the part of the Valley Brigitte calls home.
10. Pink Desert — Acrylic — $50
A small desertscape washed head to toe in pinks and violets, saguaros and wildflowers dissolving into the haze. The most affordable original in the portfolio.
11. Purple Wren — Acrylic — $500
A cactus wren, Arizona's state bird, perches on flowering cactus in purples and reds. Quick, confident brushwork gives the little bird all of its attitude.
12. On My Way (Quick Painting) — Acrylic — $100
An open highway runs toward blue mountains under a sky in motion. A quick painting in the plein-air spirit: loose, immediate, done before the light changed.
13. Gentle Monsoon — Acrylic — $300
Saguaros stand easy on a green desert flat under the soft, silvered light that comes just before summer rain. The quiet side of monsoon season.
14. Lockett Meadow — Acrylic — $175
Lockett Meadow in bloom below the San Francisco Peaks outside Flagstaff, aspen greens against volcanic slopes. A love note to her college country in northern Arizona.
15. View of Four Peaks — Acrylic — sold
A lone saguaro stands before the Four Peaks range at dusk, the summits catching the last violet light. Now in a collector's home.
16. It is Written in the Stars — Acrylic — sold
Red and blue currents sweep across the canvas like a night sky set loose, star trails flowing through the dark. One of her most abstract pieces, and one of the first to find a home.
17. White Tanks Paradise — Acrylic — sold
The White Tank Mountains, the range on her own horizon, under violet clouds with saguaros and prickly pear in the foreground. The same mountains she painted on the heArt of Goodyear sculpture. Sold.
18. A Desert Sunset — Acrylic — sold
A radiant sunset stacked over layered mountain silhouettes, the sky moving through every warm color the desert owns. Sold, and much missed.
